In companies with a consolidated image, any changes should take into account both the effect that new messages might have on their positioning and the conditioning factors which existing resources will imply for the development of the new communication material.
In the case of Santos, one the greatest difficulties to overcome was the need to have models over ten years old but still in force living together with designs from the latest collection; new people were included to promote the new message.
